What data is collected by analytics

When you consent, Google Analytics 4 may collect: pages visited, time on page, approximate location (country / city level — derived from IP, not stored directly), device type and browser, referral source. IP addresses are anonymised by default in GA4. We do not collect names, email addresses, or any other directly identifying information through analytics.

Third-party data processor

Analytics data is processed by Google LLC, under its own privacy policy. Google may transfer data to servers in the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

Legal basis (GDPR)

We only set analytics cookies on the basis of your explicit, freely-given consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Essential localStorage is used on the basis of legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — storing your preference so we can honour it.

Your rights

Withdraw consent at any time by clicking Manage cookies in the footer and selecting Reject all. This stops new analytics data from being collected. It does not delete data already sent to Google.
Delete GA cookies manually in your browser settings (Storage → Cookies → bypop.dev).
